There's are the problems

Spinal stenosis, which gives me severe back pain and almost constant diarrhea.

Chronic kidney disease which makes me constantly exhausted.

I saw a renal specialist in October, who said he would arrange a spinal specialist but so far, no appointment.

DH says I should 'sort myself out.' I know it's because he's worried about me.

Our daughter and 2 teenagers arrive tomorrow and he is stressed out about it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone else got any of these issues?

Are you in the UK? If so I would have expected your GP to refer you to a specialist for your spine problem. Can you speak to your GP?

If you have the NHS app check on it for the spinal referral. I found out I had a cardiology referral from my renal team that way. Communication between specialties is poor and it’s very frustrating.
I also have CKD and suffer with fatigue. I find I have to pace myself and not overdo it. I had some CBT to help with acceptance of this earlier in the year and it has helped me realise I just can’t do as much as I used to and others need to adapt to that as well as me.
