Hi everyone I’m after advice I lost my dad at 14 yrs of age (still grieving) then got a stepdad who raised me as his own ( some would say I’m lucky to have had two good men in my life) I’m now 46 and lost my stepdad last year - now I’ve just discovered he’s left me naff all In will , his assets equate to over a mil btw , I feel so le down by both men who have just left me feeling worthless and skint 🙈anyone else been left out of a will feel cheated hard done by??

Grief can be a tough beast. You write that you were lucky to have had two good men in your life. While it will take time, and it can feel unfair, do not equate who they were to you with a financial settlement. None of us are owed anything; there’s a lot to be said of societal expectation around inheritance.

i hope time will ease your loss and that your life experience of two good people will bring you comfort, knowing you were loved
