Normal postnatal bleeding?

DD is 3 1/2 weeks old now and i still have post birth bleeding, not incredibly heavy but enough to need a sanitary towel. It's still bright red - is this normal? Have had enough of wearing sanitary towels! Thanks

Yes, pretty normal, I'd say. Both times mine went on till around 8 weeks - dying off a bit when you're not doing much, but if you do anything energetic, it gets heavier again. I thought of it as all those periods I didn't have while I was pregnant coming all at once.

3 1/2 weeks and your worrying? My bleeding lasted for 10 weeks
