Anyone diagnosed with mild crohns?

I’m currently in the process of being diagnosed. Symptoms are occasional urgent diarrhea (very urgent), lots of clear mucus and feeling tired all the time. No blood or anything in stool. calprotectin was 550 then 750 on the repeat so very high.

Had a colonoscopy and they found 2 erosions in the terminal ileum which have been sent for biopsy so waiting on results. They said if it’s crohns it’s a mild case.

If you were diagnosed with mild crohns how do you find it? Were you put on medication for it? And if so did it help? Did it get worse over time? My main issue is the urgency it catches me out sometimes when I’m not at home and makes me fear going out anywhere currently! The urgency only happens when I have diarrhea, not all the time.

Mine is generally mild, I have flare ups every so often, sometimes a couple a year but take medication all of the time to hopefully avoid flares. I’m rarely seen by the hospital team, only if I get in touch with them about a flare. The last few years I’ve been a lot better but I don’t know why. Generally day to day now I don’t have symptoms but can’t tolerate too much fibre.
