when my ferritin was tested in August it come back as 10.5 ugl .
It is now 67 ugl .
My hair is still falling out , I am 50 and in perimenopause .
My GP says to stop the iron tablets but I feel that my ferritin should be at least 100 ugl due to my age and sex.
Any options welcome .
