Anal skin tag removal – experiences?

I’m on the waiting list to have an anal skin tag removed (on the NHS so likely under GA with no stitches).

I’ve seen very mixed reports online about how painful the recovery is.

Would anyone be willing to share their experience of the procedure and recovery?

Just a quick update i had my surgery at 3 back on ward for 4 everything went well all 3 removed. I have had no pain just slightly uncomfortable upto now glad i had it done. Doesn't look the best yet lol but i suppose that's to be expected. Just took second lot of laxido no bm yet and only paracetamol.
