the nurse is lovely not too bothered about that, the thing is there isnt a curtain up or a lock on the nurses door so if anyone took a wrong turn and walked in they would see everything.
this is the thing that is putting me off so cant bring myself to make the appointment. what do i do?

make an appt and ask the nurse to put a sheet on door for your privacy

surely, no-one would enter a room in a GP's surgery without knocking?

your gp practice should have a complaints procedure or suggestions box - you should complain about it.

you have got to go through the examination room to get to the doctors room iyswim.

Call them and ask. My nurse's room doesn't look like it has a curtain, but there's a screen thingy they get out in such circumstances!

Go on. You're just looking for reasons not to go aren't you? I can totally relate to that, but in your heart you know the best way to deal with it is to explain your problem to the surgery...

You could always go to your local FPC instead.
