DH is booked in for a vasectomy tomorrow morning. Has anyone got any tips/advice about the healing process? Anything I can be doing to make it easier on him?
thanks

My husband had one recently and beyond a bit of discomfort, I was surprised at how easily he recovered (and he's not generally known to be a hardy soul 😂). Dont plan anything strenuous/ let him rest for the first couple of days, but I don't think you need to wait on him hand and foot. Make sure he has some supportive undies, gravity wasn't his best friend for the first couple of days.

Hi, my partner had his vasectomy nearly 2 weeks ago on a Friday evening. He did spend the majority of Saturday laying in bed but I encouraged that and took our twins out to let him rest! Sunday he joined us for a gentle walk and by Tuesday he was back to work (manual outside work) and even back in the gym. He was very careful though that first week and planned his work accordingly/lighter gym work. He did get a few sharp twinges now and then but the recovery has been a lot kinder to him than he first imagined. (The doctor originally said no work or exercise for two weeks to him!) nearly two weeks in and he’s back to outdoor running, working as usual and we’ve had sex a couple times (protected!!)
