Strange Flu/ Covid symptoms

Is anyone else suffering with very odd symptoms? I'm sure each year these virus's get weirder.

two weeks ago I had a lingering headache which came and went.
Last Thursday I woke up with sticky eyes and absolutely EXHAUSTED. I'm usually one who's up and about all the time but this tiredness floored me. No amount of sleep was cutting it. (As much as you can get with a 4+2 yo)
Since then, the tiredness hasn't been as bad, but I will suddenly crash. I also feel like someone's been sitting on my chest too and I really have to take a good deep breath in to feel relief. No mucus cough (although my kids have this) but my throat is scratchy.
I also keep getting waves of nausea and stomach upset and going very hot and then shivery. But don't feel like I need to stay in bed all day?

Hard to know if it's my iron levels dropping again or if I've picked up a bug. Has anyone else displayed the symptoms without having a full blown cold ?

Yes me. Almost exactly as you describe. No cold. Started with headache. Daughter had a temp, I didn’t. Bad lethargy then upset stomach. Ongoing exhaustion. Sudden afternoon crashes where i must sleep. I’m over two weeks in now and srill
so tired.

Oh i'm sorry to hear your feeling this too, although I do feel comforted to know you've experienced the same. I know it's likely just a weird virus, but wondering if covid or flu is displaying these symptoms this year. But you do start to worry if it's something else, especially with my chest being heavy I panic! It's awful, i'm usually at the gym 3-4 times a week but I haven't been in nearly a week now

I have this too. No cold symptoms, but feverishness, sore throat and utter exhaustion. Also have very sore sticky eyes.

My DH has had exhaustion for a few weeks following a feverish illness. He's a runner and says normally a run makes him feel better. He was off work mon-wednesday after being back to work Thursday and Friday, he tried a run on Sunday and just needed a nap then was wiped out for the day. Very unusual for him.

My dc have really bad headaches, sore throat and fever.
Now a cough.
Its a nasty flu (I'm assuming - covid tests negative)

How’s everyone doing now? I seem to be going downhill again, terrible head, sore knees, crazy lethargy

Yesterday Day 10 was so bad. I called the GP and they gave me a antibiotics.
