Risk of breast cancer in a 26 year old/severe ocd around breasts

I would say since a young age I've always had some sort of compulsion around health and illness in general. For the past year or so, its been a fixation on breast cancer. I obsessively feel and pull my breast tissue to search for lumps or bumps so much on a regular rotating basis, that I actually have often ended up physically bruising my breast skin from how often i pull and check my breasts every single day, without failure.

Do you have a family history of breast or ovarian cancer?

Are you getting any help for your OCD or health anxiety?

As I am sure you are aware on a conscious level, the risk of breast cancer in someone your age is extremely low (unless there is strong family history associated with the BRCA genes). The risk to your wellbeing is more from your mental state than any possibility of cancer, so please seek help with that.

Have you posted this before?
I have had breast cancer and this is what my surgeon told me to do.

You need to check once a month and no more. If you do that you can detect change.
You are looking for something that's not normal FOR YOU. Women under menopausal age have changed throughout the monthly cycle so your breasts will feel lumpier some days of the month than others. Set a reminder for one check on the same day of the cycle every month - perhaps the day your period starts.

All the rest is an anxiety problem not a breast problem.
