Hayfever

Does anyone know which hayfever tablets I can take when I'm breastfeeding a 10 week old? Itchy mouth and eyes are driving me mad! I know I should speak to a pharmacist but with 3 under 5's it's not always easy getting to a chemist!

when i was breast feeding was advised not to take antihistamines but was ok to take nasal sprays and eyedrops

Thanks memoo-you've actually just reminded me that I did actually go to docs when BFing one of the other 2 and was prescribed a nasal spray!!

Loratidine (non-drowsy) and piriton (drowsy) are both OK.

Eye drops and steroid nasal sprays are all OK.
