For the last three weeks I’ve been experiencing the below symptoms
All affecting left hand side and not experiencing all things at the same time
left sided headache
left sided eye pressure, only relieved by pushing eye in
Numbness/skin feeling odd specifically under left eye
A week ago I started getting sharp fleeting stabbing pains in left ear. This has progressed to my ear feeling under pressure and burning/stinging pain inside ear which is fleeting but awful
I’ve had eye test, all ok. GP referred me for urgent head MRI but now going private as NHS hospital hasn’t looked at urgent referral after two weeks and said could be another four weeks potentially before they even look at it.
GP has put me on Amytriptyline to take at night which does help but only overnight. I’m already on Codeine & Paracetamol and Gabapentin for fibromyalgia.
Some days things are better than others, today has been awful. No triggers I can see apart from perhaps weather??
Just wondering if could be above? It really does feel something nerve related as that horrible nerve burning pain.
Please if anyone can give support. Will they even see this on a scan?
Plan is to refer me to a headache person depending on scan results.
