Has anyone else been feeling awful these past few weeks?? Wtf is going round?! Started off on 13th November being sick, horrendously tired and a bit achy, then for a good few days was continuing to be sick, no appetite at all for around 6 days, going hot/cold and heart racing. Then I got a horrendous sinus infection which I was on antibiotics for 5 days (this was 2 weeks ago) I finally started to feel better then within a few days later started going cold again, coughing yellow up and breathless (I am asthmatic) so doctors put me on steroids as chest was clear, finished them on Sunday and i’m still coughing so much yellow up on a morning and then tiny bits throughout the day. My head hurts, my sinuses hurt again, I’m tired and I just want to feel normal again! I had a sputum test done last Thursday which came back clear so I’m at loss of what on earth I can do! I’ve tried nasal sprays, drinking more water to thin the mucus, steam, sleeping on extra pillows. Nothing is working!! What on earth could this be??

Covid?
The new strain causes vomiting, aching and tiredness and takes ages to recover from.

Yeah it could be that. I did test twice but I have heard the tests aren’t working properly for the new strain. It’s absolutely brutal! I’ve had Covid twice before and never been this bad

I have a respiratory condition. I've been ill for fucking ages. Started as gastro issues then a cold. Then went away to a sunny clime and felt better. Then got flu. Have tested negative for covid.

I now have a scratchy cough, and I seemingly can't control my body temp - feel hot then chilled etc. Also coughing up brown phlegm in the mornings. My chest doesn't hurt and my oxygen saturation is normalish for me.

Mainly trying to keep warm, eat little and often and sleep well, but expecting it to last a month.

The cough is similar to mine very scratchy. Only I’m coughing so much gunk up on a morning and then bits throughout the day! Doctors said they think it’s post nasal drip but I’ve tried everything to stop it and can’t. My peak flow and sats are fine but I do have some chest pain. God it’s annoying isn’t it, my partner hasn’t even caught a sniffle and I’ve never been so jealous of someone before!
