Please help me, I'm really worried about a friend of mine, is there any un-ominous reason she would have a venflon (is that how you spell it?) on the back of her hand covered with a bandage? I asked her if she was ok, not actually letting on I had noticed the venflon in her hand, thinking if she wanted me to know anything she would tell me. She has just text me saying she wants to meet up again next week and I just want to mentally prepare myself iykwim, or stop worrying.

What's a venflon?

BellaDonna79 · 09/06/2008 17:59

one of these it wasn't attached to any tubes, just in her hand...

could be something as simple as needing strong antibiotics for a while. something you wouldn't necessarily need to be in a hospital for.

Did she seem herself otherwise? If there was something serious going on I'm sure there may be other clues.
Try not to worry, could be v innocent explanation.

What are you concerned it might be for?
