Patchy opacity in right upper lobe of lung

I had an MRI on my neck recently and he results came back with this noted about my lungs. I haven’t had any kind of infection or cough. My dr is concerned and sending me for a scan but I’m worried.. anyone had this?

Yes, my DP did. Non smoker etc. Similar to you - off for CT scans and so on, it was nothing in the end but the residue of a lung infection that he had the year before and which didn't cause any problems, he didn't even go to the doctor with it!

Apparently if something is found on CT, if it's below a certain size they watch and wait and repeat the scan to see if it's got any bigger, and if so they take action.

It's hard not to be concerned, but look at the stats. The vast majority of opacities are not serious.
