iron deficiency. Are you eating properly?

electricbarbarella · 09/06/2008 16:10

I eat really well, although a bit to much junk. I don't think it is iron, I had tets at the doctors although that was a few years ago, I have always been like this. It is easy to get loads of sleep when no dc though I think now I am really feleing it.

stress maybe, causing tiredness? I think you've been through a stress time recently?

electricbarbarella · 09/06/2008 16:17

I have but to be honest because of this i really need to feel ok as I have a lot of extrernal people to deal with IYSWIM. I am no longer getting any break from childcare as my support network kind of needs my support.

Ask your GP to check your thyroid function.

slayerette · 09/06/2008 16:20

have you had thyroid checked? underactive can cause fatigue. maybe worth trying a nutritionist and getting levels of things like zinc and magnesium checked. more iron - green leafy vegetables and apricots.

electricbarbarella · 09/06/2008 16:22

I had my thyroid checked when i had just had dd2 (2yo), thinking about it i have been having test for ectreme tiredness every couple of years for as long as I can remeber. May try a good quality multi vit.
