Bruising after mammogram?

I had a mammogram last Wednesday. It was extremely painful and at one point i had tears in my eyes, but I thought at the time that was because no account was taken of the fact that I have restricted movement in one shoulder.

I've looked at myself this morning and both breasts are still tender - and bruised.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Hello OP. I had a recent thread on how painful an experience I found mine. I had a bit of bruising too. Unfortunately it seemed to be part of the process for some of us. Commiserations. At least it's over with now.

Oh you poor thing that sounds horrible! Have you got arnica cream for the bruises?
