Hello!! Just back from holiday and couldn’t eat anything the last 4 days and had upper stomach pain (just between ribs under breastbone) I was prescribed omeprazole 20mg twice a day for a week then once a day for another week. I’m still struggling to eat. Has anyone else had this problem at all and when does it go back to normal because it’s so frustrating not being able to eat 😭

You need an endoscopy. Could be a hernia, gastritis, ulcer etc. a GP can't tell just by looking. If it doesn't get better, a GP should change the PPI for a different one in the interim - and ask for a H. pylori test.
