Oh my god this flu

Absolutely floored by it. Awful. Trying to muster energy to collect a prescription.

It's horrible. I've got it. Still dragging myself to work because there's only two of us and I can't leave the other one on her own. Nobody to cover until next week.

I'm sitting on a bench outside my daughter's school getting up the energy to go in and collect her. All of me hurts.

You didn’t get the vaccination then?

@thankgoditssaturday I got the vaccination, as did DH, god knows how we'd feel if we hadn't. It's taken the edge off - but both been absolutely floored by it for about 3 weeks. I had about a week off - but have been going in and then coming home and sleeping. He's been off for about 2 weeks. And he's never off.

It wasn't quite the right flu jab this year and it's a particularly bad flu year.

Aching thighs are one of the worst bits.

I got the vaccination.
