Lymph gland in neck

I discovered one raised in my neck on one side - feels small and moves but I’ve no known infection etc so wondering why it’s up. It doesn’t hurt. I do have a doctor appointment but not until mid December. Should I try and get one sooner or is this pretty normal ? I can’t recall ever having one before that I’ve felt!

I would get it checked out sooner rather than later. Good luck and hope it turns out to be nothing, but if it is something you will be glad to sort it promptly.
