My baby is 4 weeks old and I have a cold sore! I am literally so gutted it is my worse nightmare as I have already been suffering with newborn health anxiety!! I NEVER get cold sores - the last time I had one was when I worked night shifts 4 years ago, I suppose it’s because I’m run-down and barely getting sleep BUT I am so scared about my baby catching it - I am doing the usual washing my hands etc but before I had the cold sore I was kissing his forehead/face etc, I obviously haven’t since the blister appeared… I feel so lost and hoping for some reassurance :(
