Would IBS change over time?

Hi all
I posted last week about IBS.
I have had IBS for years. Two colonoscopies within that time, last one summer 2023.
I saw the GP who says he is sure it's IBS flare but to ease my concerns has done a FIT test.
My IBS has changed from cramps and loose poo on and off for days, to random evenings of cramps, urgency and loose poo then normal in-between. Ive had three episodes of this since July. I never had the urgency before all this started, my IBS was a grumbling.
No blood. No weight loss or loss of appetite.

I've had IBS for years and it goes in waves for me, over several months of really bad and then far better. In case it helps, I've found that fasting really helps mine as apparently it's related to inflammation that can't be reduced when your gut is always on the go. Not sure if that's correct, but it absolutely works.
