Allergic to thrush pessary?? Help!

Please help
Tell me this will get better or share any experience or what I can do

I put a Canesten pessary in late last night
I got that chalky stuff come out and now my whole vulva has swollen inside/out and I am red raw and burning and hot down there
I am having tingling feeling in my groin and pain, almost like before my period starts in my groin area too (period is due though)

I am SO uncomfortable
Is this a reaction??

You are most likely reacting to one of the carrier ingredients. Wash your external skin with lots of lukewarm water. Avoid soap.

if it persists, warm but not hot baths, again without any soap will soothe the area.

If it is a multi-day pack, don’t use another dose.

there are some brands I can use and some I can’t. I know what I’m allergic to though so it’s easy to check the ingredient lists.

Gawd you poor thing! Last thing you need. Yeah it's probably not the actual active ingredient it's probably something else in it. Just wash it out and have a warm bath. Or cool shower down there if it's really burny.

Then try using live yoghurt up there? I soak it in a tampon or you can just squirt it up with a syringe and use a sanitary towel. That's really soothing and apparently does actually kill the thrush as well.

I had this once - practically had to claw the pessary out of me. The gel one was fine, if you can find that instead.
