Infected chickenpox

My son has had a bad case of chickenpox been really poorly with them but he's coming out of the other end now but I've noticed alot of his spots have started looking yellow and abit red around the edges my youngest had it a few weeks ago and never experienced this with him any advice would be great

Are they hot?

I had this with adult chicken pox. They gave me aclivor.

Mine needed oral antibiotics for this

No they're not hot that I can feel but he's saying they are painful

Dts had this they ended up on an antibiotic cream beginning with F, can’t remember the name! We ended up in urgent care. They were very unwell. I hope he recovers quickly.

My dd had cp at 12 and they got badly infected. During covid so the doctor didn’t want her in but prescribed anti biotics after me sending photos.

Can anyone tell me if this is normal for chickenpox to heal a purple colour? This is my eldest son my younger son had it a few weeks ago and his didn't heal like this
