Awful smell in my nose could it be a sinus infection

The last few days I have a terrible smell in my nose it actually smells like a dead mouse. I have read this could be a sinus infection but I don’t have any other symptoms like a cold or anything.

Anyone experienced anything similar.

Yes I had post nasal drip and needed doxycycline

Yep, sounds like a sinus infection. It's an ailment in its own right so doesn't always indicate a cold or something else underlying.

When I had mine all I could taste was rotting food and ashtrays (don't smoke). All I could smell was BO (assured by everyone I asked to sniff me that I didn't have BO).

Antibiotic cream cleared it in about 10 days.

Yeah I am going to go and see about it. It’s such an awful smell it’s like Ammonia/dead mouse in my nose. Just gross.
