Cold

Anyone else got the cold going round? It's an absolute banger! Feel awful, so snotty but blocked up, mild temperature, shivery.
On my third box of tissues since yesterday!

Oh no! How long have you had it? I'm on day 3.

I am on day 6; the blocked nose has gone but I still have a nagging cough 😷 I am hoping it will boost my immunity and be the last one for the winter…or at least live in hope 😊

This has floored me. Day 5 and still so congested which I can manage but I've no energy and feel so weak and shaky.
Had so many bugs this year, its ridiculous.

Yes, on day 4 and I had a similar one a month ago.

I'm on day 8 and feel wiped out still. Worst cold I've had for years, so bored and fed up with it.

I started with streaming nose, congested and a temperature, they are easing a little but I ache in my upper body and feel weak. Had a shower and went back to bed as it did me in!

Day 12 and still off work but definitely starting to improve today, got out of bed for a few hours with returns in between

Day 8 and totally fatigued again.
Managed work day 6 and 7 but today I have no energy again. Could go to bed.
Its one virus after another at the moment, the joys of working in a school I guess but this term I've had more days off than ever.

How long is this cold going on for?
I have had a cold for over 2 weeks, thought it was going apart from a cough ans tonight (day 17) I'm really snotty again.

I posted on the 9th when it was 4 days in and I'm still snotty with the addition of a big cold sore under my nose which appeared last night.

I think I’m on week 4 now.

Edit to add: and still had some time off sick this week.

That sounds like the flu….

Day 13 although am immuosuppressed. I am still coughing and blowing my nose a lot.

I'm day 19 now, been to work but sent home as feeling off again. Shivery, dizzy. The worst of the cold is over although I'm still coughing and a bit congested but today I've felt generally unwell again.

Oh no I am only on day 5 thought I was feeling a bit better yesterday but got up feeling awful again today

Day 26: actually felt alright today, bit sniffly but only a really mild cold level

Have you felt rough all this time? Some days I think I'm on the mend although I've never shifted the cough and congestion, then I'll have a day or so where I feel rubbish again.

Mine seems to have about gone now, apart from the coldsore which is in full bloom. With me a coldsore or if I'm really lucky, a few, usually means the end of a cold.

The intensity comes and goes but I’ve felt some level of rubbish all this time. Still wiped out and feeling off today but haven’t taken any pain killers yet today, not quite felt the need.
