Chest spasms

Been having these quite violent spasms in chest. Don’t happen all the time just occasionally but can go on for hours. Can see it happening in my neck pulse. Been to doctors they did ecg but it wasn’t happening at time of ecg and they said all was fine. Anyone know what it could be. Not anxious usually happens when relaxing in the afternoon/evening. Very uncomfortable and whole chest shakes

Would you call it a palpitation as I get these when my heart beats really fast for about 10-15 seconds but then it calms down
a lot of people get them apparently the doctor told me!

You can get a 24 hr egc fitted, I had one but they said there was nothing to worry about

Could it be acid reflux . I get this and the associated chest pains , some quite sharp. Not all chest pain is your heart .

Oh that’s good. Maybe I need that next

I do have gastritis so could be. Just feels like my heart tbh

It’s not fast just with my usual heart rhythm it’s so strange and uncomfortable. Can see it with every beat through my neck pulse as I’m quite slim

Costacondrosis? That can be really painful

Acid does cause palpitations , I have a hatius hernia. and gastritis and get ‘ heart area ‘ palpitations and sharp pains , an ECG ruled out any heart issues .

Can you video it on your phone and show the doctor?

The weird thing is it’s not really painful it’s just uncomfortable and annoying

Could explain it then, especially as it’s not all the time Aswell

It will be intermittent depending on your food intake .
