How many spots do you need to have chicken pox?

DS, 2, grumpy all week and now has between 10 and 15 spots on his torso and one leg, rather oddly. They're not blistered but nor are they insect bites or heat rash. Does he in fact have chicken pox or can he still go to nursery on Monday ?

Sounds like it , be prepared for another batch tomorrow. dd didn't have many but scarred more than ds who was covered

Does said spot have to turn into a blister in a given length of time? Or can it just stay a spot? And if so, how do you know it's bloody chicken pox?
