Constant abdominal pain

Hi ladies, in a bit of a state. Had nonstop dull ache in abdomen interspersed with pains for a week. Concerned that there hasn't been a second of respite from it in 7 days and it's not a sensation I've had before - it's hard to pinpoint exactly where the ache/pains are - sometimes low down sometimes higher up in the abdomen. I have zero appetite and a constant pressure/fullness in my abdomen. I doubt it's IBS as no issues in that department.

I have an ovarian scan in 10 days ordered by my doctor as have had a huge meno belly for a few years even though I hardly eat. Am 56, post menopausal.

My health anxiety is through the roof, the usual hysteria about possible stomach or ovarian cancer. Had a ca125 blood test which didn't show a red flag.

I am going to ask doctor tomorrow if I can have an abdominal scan as well, since I can't locate whether the discomfort is in the pelvic or abdominal region, it seems to move around.

If anyone has had similar (nonstop abdominal discomfort for a week or more) or can offer any calming words I'd be incredibly grateful. Thanks for reading.

Do you have an IUD at all?
I had years of discomfort, with occasional stabbing pains, and generally feeling a bit bloated.
The second, and I mean, the second, it was removed the ache was gone.

I don't have any wise words unfortunately, but I have had this for the past couple of days. I went to the GP today to rule out kidney infection. She was happy it wasn't anything to do with kidneys and said it might be digestive.

Are you getting pain when you breathe in by any chance? Wondering if it is the same thing!

No, haven't got IUD. The pain is all the time not just when I breathe in. It's been mostly a dull ache all day but in the last hour sharp stabbing pains. It's been a week of this. Thanks for replies
