Mammogram

I had a mammogram on 23/10. This was the first of my yearly checks after having a fibroadenoma and a thankfully benign phyllodes tumour removed last year.
All went OK and the mammogram itself wasn't as bad as I had expected it to be. I was a little tender but had put this down to having my period at the time. However both breasts, especially the side I had the tumours removed from, now feel bruised although no bruising is visible.
Is this normal?
Google results are a bit mixed. I will probably call my GP in the morning but juat wondered about other women's experiences.
