I’ve done something to my foot. Am I just overreacting to a bruise

Hi! I’m sure you have many things that are of a much deeper concern so I am sorry to take up your time but my foot was crushed by a horse a week ago and I was wondering if I should do something about it.
It swelled up a lot instantly but after a couple of days went down but not fully. Most of the foot is rather bruised and purple except a couple of toes are whiter and tingle. If I follow the bones of the ring and middle toes to the middle ish of my foot, there is a little lump, especially if I try to pull my toes back towards me. It is red/purple over the lump and white surrounding it. It feels fuzzy and my whole foot is rather cold, especially those toes and around the little lump. It doesn’t hurt that much when I walk and I have been able to go about my day as usual and I am very active. Just wondering if it will fix itself as I am very busy and don’t have time to rest it unless absolutely necessary. Thank you!!

It does sound as if you've done something that needs checking out - maybe some nerve or blood vessel damage if not a fracture. Do you have a minor injuries or urgent care place with x-ray? If not it will have to be A&E. Given how active you are I'd want to make sure you haven't done damage that could impact your mobility in the future.

Is there a reason you've started a second thread about this?

Oh sorry, it said the first one didn’t start

Could be a small fracture. I hobbled about for a week with a foot black to the ankle. When I finally went to ED it was a broken metatarsal.

I hope you got that xrayed! Jeez. I dropped a massive plywood board on my foot a few weeks back and it didn’t bruise as bad as that by a long stretch and they had me straight to xray and thought I’d broken something. Maybe a small chip in my case but couldn’t be sure. I can’t imagine how much that must hurt! Hope it soon heals.
