Sinusitis nasal spray

Hi . So I’m suffering with sinusitis at the moment , just on one side. My nostril is completely blocked. I have been described a nasal steroid spray . But every time I use it in my blocked nostril it just come back out. Will the spray still be effective? Thanks

It won’t be if it’s coming out, no. Can you get a saline spray to use first to try and ‘clear’ things
