Coil Swap!

I am due to have my coil swapped next week but don't know what to expect as it is my first time does it hurt? I have a smear that day too, so I'll feel very invaded indeed.

Not sure. I had mine put in while I was under GA. Bumping for you.

IME having the old one taken out is very quick and virtually painless - having the new one put in is a little more unpleasant but no more so than the first time IYSWIM

well I was thinking about not having it replaced in a way as I have had some very unpleasent experience with this coil. I might go back on the pill but don't want to put on anymore weight it's taken me ages to shift a little weight. (and I mean tiny)
Then I won't have to put up with any unpleasentness!!!
The wimps way out I suppose
