Bowel polyps

CharlesRydersMum · 30/10/2025 08:07

Had a colonoscopy in 2024 for bleeding.

5 benign polyps found, given 3 year follow up.

Bleeding again this year (10 months later) and they found 9 polyps.

I'm just confused as to why I should get them again so quickly. None of the staff seemed bothered (though now have annual colonoscopies).

I have regular colonoscopies because of family history. Whenever there is a polyp they just snip it off there and then.

You might have a genetic mutation or you might have the wrong diet and lifestyle . Do you drink? Smoke? Eat a lot of animal protein? Eat a lot of fat? UPFs? Do you drink alcohol?

Ummmm... animal fat and protein yes! (Was vegetarian all my life until met DH and discovered meat)
