Hi, I'm wondering if anybody has experiance of an inflamed colon fold?
Have been experiencing symptoms for a few years of on and off abdominal pain, bloating, neausia, and fatigue. Had my gallbladder removed earlier this year. Just get on with intermittent symptoms with painkillers and anti neausia medication.
A month ago the symptoms flared up and I felt pretty rough and neausias constantly. Two weeks ago I woke up in the night with excruciating pain in the middle of my chest/into my back. Sweating, couldn't sit still, like a caged animal etc etc. Went to A&E, slightly raised liver and pancreas enzymes. Was admitted for suspected pancreatitis. Stayed for 3 nights. MRI showed pancreas was fine.
So to the point(sorry for the ramble) had a colonoscopy today and all seemed fine, except for one of the folds in my tranverse colon was inflamed. Biopsies taken. Does anybody have any experiance with this or words of wisdom? I know I will have to wait for results but surely one area of some inflammation isn't causing the symptoms I'm experiencing? Due to have endoscopy next week so maybe that will show something.
