Hi

I've been taking H&B magnesium 375g muscle care at night to help me sleep and for muscle repair post exercise.

I did try the sprays but the itching was unbearable!

Can anyone please guide me towards other Magnesium as I've since read that this one isn't that good for what l want.... and I'm a bit lost as there are so many brands and types to choose from.

Many thanks

My (consultant) psychiatrist told me to take magnesium for my ADHD. When I asked her which sort, her answer was "the cheapest".

I'm not sure it's that simple. Different forms are absorbed differently and may cause more or fewer side effects (diarrhoea mainly).

There are a number of types of magnesium - magnesium citrate, magnesium oxide... You want magnesium bisglycinate. You will need to read the ingredients carefully to see what form of magnesium is in a lot of supplements. I use the bulk magnesium bisglycinate someone posted above. H&B also do magnesium bisglycinate specifically (labelled as such).
