What can I take to help with mood swings when I have PMS

Hi

I am unable to take the pill or mini pill due to migraine issues.

Since having child 2 years ago, after ovulation each month for 3-5 days I have mood swings and things really irritate me, tiredness and unable to sleep.
I do think it might be PMDD.

As I look after 2 year old full time with no help from anyone (that's another story) I find this time of month really hard.

I end up being snappy with toddler which is not how I am for the other 3 weeks of the month. It's not fair on them at all.

Is it worth going on antidepressants for this?
Can anyone please share what helps them if they also have or do suffer with this?

Thank you

I used to take evening primrose oil to help with the mood swings. Have you talked to your doctor/health visitor to see if you can get any extra help x

I took fluoxetine for 2 weeks prior to my period. This worked really well for me. X I hope you find something that helps
