My soon to be 3 year old son keeps complaining his "leg's hurting" and it is always the same leg.

I was thinking it was just something he has picked up from his sister, as it is the sort of thing she would say when she wants to be carried/is in a mood/is being her.

He has been doing it for a few days so am not sure.

He has a cold and a cough and that vaguely rings a bell about being linked to leg pain.

You have to be half dead and get through the surgery mafia before getting a sniff of an appointment so what's a mummy to do?

knee or hip?

DS2 had some infected hip thing (which can cause the knee to hurt) after a cold. He just had to rest for a few days. First time he couldn't walk, second it was just painful.

actually not infected- that would be serious- inflamed.

You can get associated joint inflammation , dd had a "hip cold" once, try nurofen as an anti inflammatory .

He pointed to his knee when I picked him up.
