Anyone else got this bloody awful cold!?

My god, I’ve not had cold like this for ages! Nose dripping like a tap, scratchy throat makes me gag, sneezing constantly, headache, fatigue - you name it! It’s been a good 2 years since I had a cold this bad.
im not looking for anything other than tea (maybe lemsip!) and sympathy!!

I had it a couple of weeks ago. It was horrific but it went as quickly as it came, but lasted 5 days

Just got rid of it. Lasted a good 12 days. Maybe would have gone sooner if I’d been able to wallow in bed and sleep but work had to be done.

I've had a cold going on for a couple of weeks - runny nose, cough, tired and listless, eyes heavy and feeling shivery.
It's not the worst cold I've had but it's just going on and on.
I 've had very few colds in recent years and this one is just so annoying.

Started today, gone through a large box of tissues already

I’ve been awake all night with it. I slept 12am-1am and woke up covered in sweat and have been awake ever since it’s 6am now. Starting to wonder if it’s covid as can’t smell or taste a single thing. I feel horrendous

I’ve got a really bad head cold at the moment. No sneezing or runny nose, but my throat is on fire. Might have to do Covid test.

I had it and it lingered for two weeks! I didn’t manage to get to the gym as couldn’t breathe. Thought I was well enough yesterday and that I needed to get back to it. Did the slowest 4.5k ever (practically a walk) and my lungs hurt all day after. I think I’m ok to do a weights session now but I’m not sure I can be bothered or take the sore lungs. I had it for 2 weeks. It went and then returned after a week. It's hideous

Yes!! Came out of nowhere last Monday. Nose wont stop running, sudden fits of sneezing, knackered and achy. Lemon and ginger tea, para etamol and olbas oil inhaler have helped slightly. Hope you feel better soon x
