I cant rememeber at what point im meant to seek out GP or HV

DD2 is 8 1/2 months, she has no teeth, can only babble dada or scream. She doesnt sit unaided, and promtly falls over if sat down.

She has strong head control and is generally a happy little love.

All her friends are crawling but she makes no attempts at all.
Thanks, Im sure shes fine, but its been a while since i did this, and DD1 was never on time with things either.

no crawling here at 11mo! First teeth came through last week. No HV check since she was tiny!

sounds within the bounds of normal to me - mine started with teeth about 9 months, and crawled from 9 months to a yearish.

Mine sat earlier - is she ok if propped up eg with cushions ?

DD1 couldn't sit unaided until she was 9 months, didn't crawl until 10. She had no teeth until 10 months either. DD2 didn't babble much until 11 months and only has a few 'words' now at 15 months. I'd say you're still all right not to be worrying yet!

That's exactly what DD1 did, she'd sit quite well with a cushion but would push with her legs and fall over backwards.

Ds1 sat alone about 9mths.Crawled about 10.5 mths and walked aweek after turning one.

Dd1 sat about 10mths.Bum shuffled from 10.5mths and walked at 19mths.(i did start to worry but she was fine.)

Dd2 sat about 8mths.She didn't really move about till she started walking at 13mths.

Dd3 sat and crawled about the same time aged 9mths.She walked at 12mths.

Dd4 sat about 7mths and bum shuffled from about 9mths.She was about 14mths when she walked.

Ds2 sat at 9mths and crawled at 10mths.He was about 12mths when he walked.

Dd3 didn't get her first tooth until she was 14mths old.

If your dd can control her head and hold it up,i wouldn't worry about her.G.P and Hv were only just starting to worry about dd1 when she wasn't walking at 19mths.So your dd has a way to go yet.But saying that if you think there is any reason to worry see your HV.

Mine didn't sit until 9 months and she had problems.

if you are worried, have her checked out.

My DD1 didnt sit till 10months, never crawled but then didnt walk till 2 years! I remember the HV jumping up and down about her not reaching milestones, but never really got any answers. I guess i worry because of her difficult birth.

They just vary! Thinking about a few milestones;

crawling - ds1 - 6 months, dd 8 months, ds2 14 months

pulling up to stand - ds1 - 8 months, dd, 10 months, ds2 16 months+

first word - ds1 20 months, dd 9 months, ds2 23 months or so

smile - ds1 - 3 weeks, dd - 5 weeks, ds2 - 4 days!
