I've been battling AF and other infections/colonisations in my feet since July
As a result of my natural foot flora being destroyed by a too strong vinegar soak which resulted in chemical burns, 3 lots of antibiotics and topical antibiotic cream, foot swabs have confirmed 'opportunist' bacteria have taken advantage and move in. One treated by AB's, the other is largely AB resistant and isn't causing 'active infection' so has been left for now which is a bit unsettling
I'm at the point of not knowing if the symptoms in my foot skin are AF or from this other bacteria or maybe anotger has moved in! If you've had AF have you ever had a sticky feeling between toes which on wiping produces little crusty looking yellow bits (sorry, a bit grim sounding). I currently have this between web space of my big toes along with itchiness and soreness. Have been persevering with Daktarin assuming its another AF flare up. Have had it previously since this nightmare started but am now beginning to wonder if it's another bug, not AF. Thank you
