Advice to push GP along?

I have a telephone appointment coming up and just looking for some advice really.
I had bloods done in August which showed my ferritin was low, was given iron supplements, then fast forward to Septembers bloods, all areas of my iron has steeply dropped into iron deficiency anaemia, haemoglobin has dropped, though not massively and he just said to repeat bloods later on.

Fast forward to the last couple of weeks, I had horrendous sickness and stomach pain and couldn’t move except to be sick, what I vomited was my breakfast from 2 days before and everything in between, I also had 2 episodes of overflow (sorry for tmi). I took a FOB test which was positive.

Now I’m normally IBS-D but my gut has really slowed down lately and my gp put my sickness down to travellers diarrhoea, wouldn’t do a FIT, and the FOB test being positive was due to being sick, as I had recently been away, but he just wasn’t having it, that it wasn’t ‘true’ diarrhoea. He took a stool sample that’s all which I understand.
Fast forward 2 weeks later my stool sample is all clear and I’ve repeated the FOB test which is still a very clear positive.
Previois Coeliac testing also clear.

Where do I go from here?
I’m 32 btw, so understand the likelihood of anything sinister is rare, but I do think IBD possibly?

I would ask for a colonoscopy if you are having a change in bowel habits, positive FOB and iron deficiency anaemia that is worsening. It hopefully won't be anything sinister but it certainly sounds like it needs further investigation.

Thank you, I did ask for one but he said to do a FIT test first. So I’ll see what comes of it x
