Had a cold but with sore arms?

Hi all!
I've had a bit of a cold but the most worrying symptoms are weak and achy arms and weak legs. The legs aren't particular sore but they are feeling weak. I've not had this before and feels a bit odd. Has anyone else had similar these last few weeks?

DH and I have both had this on and off over the past month. Also a sunburny/cold sort of feeling on our skin in random bits all over, shooting pains in random places and generally feeling feeble.

It seems to be passing now but it was not pleasant.

I’ve had this for 5 months!!! I had flu or Covid in May, my skin was hurting like it does when I’m sick but my leg and various parts of my body are still sore.

It’s like @SeaAndStars says, it feels like sunburn. I was convinced I was going to get a shingles rash pop up somewhere, but it never happened.

Thanks for replying. I too have a patch like that on my lower leg- feels tight and sore especially when stretched, almost like a load of superglue has dried on it. I didn't think that it may be part of the same thing!

@miserableandworried Yes, just like shingles! I've had shingles in the past and this felt exactly like it coming again which was an unpleasant thought. It seemed to hover around me for a few weeks but thankfully I seem to be on the mend.

I hope you're both feeling much better soon.

Fairly sure those sound like symptoms of some of the Covid variants.

I have had this too. I had pain in my pelvis the other day and it was so severe I could barely walk up the stairs for a couple of days. It then just went. I have a cold and cough, feel exhausted and I also have tight skin on my arms. Weird. Last night I couldn't sleep either. I don't feel bad enough to say I am poorly but just feel rough.

Oh wow, I have the sore skin thing, I've had a some kind of virus since July mainly affecting my chest, which turned into a cold. The cough is much better now, but the sore skin thing started this week, also itchy ears, Is it Covid? fed up with it
