Low/borderline cortisol

Hey has anyone been told they have low/borderline cortisol before? I've been referred to endo but still waiting.i seem to only be able to read up lots on high cortisol levels

Yes, I have secondary adrenal insufficiency which causes low cortisol levels because my ACTH levels are low. Primary adrenal insufficiency is usually Addison's Disease.

I have lived with it my whole life so I don't miss what I've never had but it does limit your life in many ways. You will adjust to a new, slower pace of life but it may take some time to get to grips with it.
