How to find a physio

I'm trying to find a physio near me and I'm not sure how important it is that they are registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists. I've found some through looking on their search tool here but then also found one through Google maps who is closer and cheaper, with excellent reviews through Google reviews. But her website doesn't say she's registered with CSP.

Does that mean she's not properly qualified? Or are masses of good physios not part of CSP? Or should I find one in another way?

Usually the best way is to ask around for recommendations - family, mates, work colleagues.

The requirement for physios is HCPC registration in the UK. CSP provides a union and insurance but there are other insurance providers and many private practitioner's use them. If you phone the physio you think you want to use they will happily talk you through this and any other queries.
