Would it be threadworm?

My son went to the toilet earlier and there was what looked like a single dead threadworm on his poo (sorry tmi) and nothing further. We have already been through this with him twice previously but never had it where there has been no further symptoms - just this solitary dead (what I think is a threadworm?

anyone having had the experience of this - is that even possible? I would of thought any infestation would show live worms in poo and other symptoms?

just to add - whole family have taken over and all bedding washed/ hoovered and surfaces cleaned just incase.

Could be the start, could be the end. I’d treat again just incase.
