Pulsating temples

Would anyone know why both of my temples would suddenly start having spasms? I think it's more muscle spasms than veins. It's an odd almost bubbling/popping sensation which comes and goes. You can see it quivering. I do have other symptoms eg knee pain and pain either side of pubic area. Any insights would be much appreciated.

Could it be a tic, like a nervous spasm? I used to get these before I took early retirement. Are you stressed?

Thank you for replying. I don't feel stressed particularly. But overtired yes. I hadn't thought of a tic. It's such an odd sensation.
