Hey so I'm new here. Not sure how this works but I do have a bit of health anxiety and I've noticed a spot on my tonsil, has anyone else had this? Also seems a bit pale on each side of my mouth behind my wisdom teeth area. Should I be worried? Keep thinking of the C word and scaring myself. I can't get into a dentist atm as no one is taking on and I can't afford to go private. Could a doctor tell me what it is?
TIA x

A doctor would be the best port of call, not a dentist.

but it’s unnecessary. Sounds like a tonsil stone. You can gargle with warm water but it’s likely it will dislodge itself. Only see a doctor if you get severe symptoms or it’s not gone within a month or so.

The only thing that's making me think it's not a tonsil stone is that I did poke it and it didn't move. So I just instantly thought worse case scenario like I do. I will give the gargling a try though. Thank you
