I think yes. There’s a hole But I’m no doctor.

Ouchie!
It might be too late for stitches now? I'm not a doctor but cut my finger years ago one evening. Visited the practice nurse first thing next morning (so probably similar timescales to you) and she said she'd have stitched it if I came in when I did it but wouldn't be effective at that time. Something about the edges not being able to knit together.
In your case though unless you know you're up to date with tetanus it'd be worth visiting minor injuries for a check.

It’s my sisters foot, I’m trying to convince her to get it looked at, she thinks she’s fine 🥲

You can buy steristrips at the chemist (paper stitches), they held an open cut closed for me whilst it healed.

steamingin · 03/10/2025 23:42

Dp would probably superglue it (!) DON'T do that. I'd think it probably needs steri strips and a tetanus

coxesorangepippin · 04/10/2025 01:25

I'd say so, yes

WannaFOffOnHoliday · 04/10/2025 01:30

She will need a tetanus jab

TalulahJP · 04/10/2025 09:09

She might not need tetanus. Maybe that’s what’s putting her off going?

I asked when I hurt myself previously and they said no that the one I had years ago will last 20 years! So depends when she got her tetanus and if that 20 year advice still stands.
