can there be a virus that causes gripey stomach and wind, cos i got it bad !!

started with tum ache sunday morning. I cannot pipoint anything different in diet to have cause it, My appetite is fine,

But blow me down ) and I probably will soon) the wind is, erm, consistent shall we say. Yesterday I looked about 6 months pg.

dd has also been saying she has tum pains, but no wind.

but she tends to get them when she is abit run down or upset, which she is atm.

This feels like yrs back when i used to have ibs.

Ohhh me too but no excessive wind but feeling of it perhaps being trapped and the gripy nasty pains as well.

I still have this. Was awake in the night with stomach ache, and also keep getting indegestion on & off.
Have had this since Friday, and at first assumed it was maybe my IBS, but don't think it is now.

I work in a primary school & two children were sent home after throwing up in the dinner hall, so it seems there are some kind of tummy viruses going around. Was hoping that the summer would bring a stop to the constant bugs we had around all winter, but clearly that isn't the case!
